What data we collect
Via the contact and booking forms: name, email, phone (optional), message and stay details (dates, guests, unit). Contact form messages are emailed to the host; bookings are confirmed by WhatsApp/phone.
Purposes and legal basis
Data is used to respond to enquiries and manage bookings via WhatsApp/phone. Legal basis: your consent (submitting the form) and our legitimate interest in operating the accommodation service.
Who we share data with
We may share data, strictly as necessary, with: Netlify (contact form processing and email delivery), Meta/WhatsApp (when you open chat from booking) and Google services (maps, reviews on the site). We do not sell personal data to third parties.
How long we keep data
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (e.g. accounting and tax obligations). Contact form data is deleted on request where there is no legal retention duty.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and to withdraw consent. You may lodge a complaint with the Romanian Data Protection Authority (ANSPDCP): www.dataprotection.ro.
